When did you start working at Roseberry?
I am new to Roseberry this year (September 2023).
What is your role in school?
I am a Year 2 class teacher.
Why did you become a teacher?
I love working with children and being part of guiding them through life and shaping their futures. I also love the excitement that every day brings when the children walk into the classroom.
What is your favourite subject and why?
My favourite subject is English. I love seeing a child’s imagination come to life when they pick up a pen.
Do you have a favourite book?
My favourite book to read to children is ‘The Colour Monster’. I love the message behind it for the children, showing them that it is okay to experience different feelings.
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food is pasta with lots of parmesan cheese!
What is your favourite sport?
I enjoy keeping fit by running and going to the gym. My favourite sport to watch is tennis.
Do you have any hobbies?
In my spare time, my favourite thing to do is take my dog for walks along the beach and in the countryside. I love getting fresh air! I love going to the cinema.
What do you like about working at Roseberry?
I love the friendly and welcoming community that has been created at Roseberry by both the staff and the children. There are always lots of smiling faces in the corridors!
