In June 2023, a group of year 5 and 6 pupils were given the exciting opportunity to take part in a wonderful residential trip to France. This is the second year we have been able to offer this experience to our pupils and thanks to the Government’s Turing Scheme, the trip was fully funded!
The children stayed in France for a week. They visited our French partner school in the north of France, practicing what they had been learning in their French lessons at Roseberry and making new friends. They went sightseeing in the local area, visited the beautiful beaches and enjoyed ice creams. Not to mention, the exciting journey to France via ferry.
It was an amazing experience for all involved!
We are delighted to share that our funding application for the Turing Scheme has been successful again this year and we are already planning our next trip to France in June 2024.
Miss Miller will be sharing more information with parents in the Autumn term.
