Chair of Governors
Why I became a governor: I was keen to be able to use skills learned from my main job to shape the local community where I live.
Special Interests: At home I enjoy spending time with my two girls, getting out and about enjoying the outdoors with our dog Ted. If I ever get allowed control of the remote, I enjoy watching Formula 1. I have an interest in supporting financial education in schools to build key life skills.
Qualifications: I am educated up to AS level and have studied to achieve multiple level 3 certificates since.
Experience: For over a decade I have worked for a high street bank, building skills in customer service, leadership and coaching as well as performance management. I have set up community initiatives raising funds and resource for various charity projects. In relation to Governance I have been part of the board at Roseberry since early 2021 I have supported multiple committees and have spent the past year as Chair.
Skills: Leadership, People Management, Community Focus, Customer Service, Risk Management, Communication.
Possible Training Need: At the moment I am looking to build skills around strategic growth.
