When did you start working at Roseberry?
I joined Roseberry in October 2022.
What is your role in school?
I am a teaching assistant in Key Stage 2.
Why did you become a teaching assistant?
I became a teaching assistant as I love working with children and wanted to be able to encourage them. Watching children grow and learn is the most rewarding part of my job!
What is your favourite subject and why?
My favourite subject is definitely English, and it has been something that I have continued to study in my own learning.
Do you have a favourite book?
I love reading, so it’s nearly impossible to say for sure, but I love the Harry Potter series. I’ve read them so many times that I think I could probably recite them!
What is your favourite food?
Desserts! I have a sweet tooth!
What is your favourite sport?
I love swimming. It’s my favourite sport by a mile.
Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy reading. I have a book collection of about 700 at home and that is definitely where I spend most of my time.
What do you like about working at Roseberry?
Every day is different. The children are a massive part of my love for the job. I love being able to encourage them and love celebrating their successes.
